Provider and scope
This policy covers the SnapLedger app, account services, and this website provided by ShengYong Guo. Contact 279694479@qq.com for privacy requests.
Information and purposes
We process account identifiers, login credentials or Apple sign-in identifiers, and an app-generated device identifier for authentication and security; submitted OCR text to format ledger entries; entries you choose to sync for cloud synchronization; and Apple transaction identifiers, products, expiry dates, and transaction environment to verify subscriptions. Servers also process IP addresses needed for connections and operational error information.
Device permissions and local content
Camera access is used to scan receipts; photo access imports images you select. You can enter records manually without these permissions. Images and the local ledger stay on the device. Images are not uploaded to our servers or included in CSV exports or cloud sync.
AI and third-party services
After your consent to AI formatting, OCR text is sent through our server to DeepSeek and may include merchants, names, and amounts. Submit only data you are authorized to process and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. DeepSeek processes received data under its applicable policies; we do not promise zero retention by that provider. Apple handles sign-in and subscription payments; we do not receive payment card details. Alibaba Cloud hosts our servers and database. We do not sell personal information, use advertising identifiers, or track you across apps for advertising.
Storage, retention, and security
Account data and entries you sync are stored on Alibaba Cloud resources in Beijing, mainland China. Using the service from another region transfers this data to mainland China. Connections use HTTPS and account passwords are stored as irreversible hashes. Account and cloud ledger data are retained as needed to provide the service until you delete the relevant data or account, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can view, edit, delete, and export entries as CSV, and delete your account and cloud ledger in Settings. Stop using AI to stop new OCR submissions; stop syncing to stop new uploads. Revoke device permissions in system settings. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Contact the email below to request access, correction, deletion, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity to protect your account.
Minors and policy updates
Minors should use the service and purchase subscriptions with a guardian’s guidance. Contact us about information submitted without required guardian consent. Updates are dated on this page; we will obtain renewed consent where required for changes to processing.
